Makin’ Safe Sex ...

Wednesday, April 16, 2008

Yes, this article is about safe sex, but before you groan and bitch about it, let me just tell you that I am here to teach you how to make safe sex fun. Yes, that’s right; condoms can actually be fun… better than fun with a few tips! Before we get to the fun stuff though we need to talk about an attitude adjustment, because when it comes to condoms, well, most people’s attitudes downright stink!
Far too many people view safe sex as a nuisance or a joy kill. Surely we have all heard others complain that condoms “ruin the mood” or “make it go soft”, but the reality is that nothing ruins the mood or makes you go soft quite like finding out that you have contracted an STD! So what everyone needs to do is see condoms for what they really and truly are: absolutely necessary no matter how well you think you know someone. Luckily, condom makers are already doing their part to make condom use less clinical and a little more fun by creating pleasure-enhancing condoms like those that offer a warming sensation or are textured for your pleasure. And mixed packages give you the chance to try a few kinds at once!

Still looking for more ways to make safe sex as hot and yummy as all sex should be?
Here are some amazing tips on how to vamp up your safe sex practices...

First, there are a couple of hot ways to deal with that age ol’ complaint that; “stopping to put on a condom makes me/my boyfriend go soft”. Why stop mid-play to put on the condom when you can totally incorporate it into your foreplay?! Partners; heads up! (Pun fully intended) Keep stroking your man with one hand as you use the other you work a condom out of the package, then place it on the head and go back to stroking the base of his penis as your other hand rolls it down. Keeping a firm grip on the base of his penis will also help to keep the blood flow where it needs to be to keep him hard—much like a human cock ring! Want to heat things up even more? Try the oral version of that tip by using a flavored condom. Put the condom over his head, roll down part way and use your lips to take it all the way down. Trust me; with enough pressure from your lips, you’ll be able to maneuver that tasty condom all the way to the base while keeping him hard and happy! This is also a great time to remind you that safe sex should also be practiced during oral. Blow jobs are not “safe” on their own—you still need a condom. And still talking about oral; you can cut a flavored condom in half and use it as a barrier when going down on her.

If your man takes the initiative and puts on the condom; this leaves your hands and mouth free to continue to stimulate him every way imaginable; while he’s taking care of making sex safe you can take care of him with some strategically placed kisses, licks, caresses… you get the picture.

Now to tackle the common female complaint that they dry up faster when using condoms; the solution is as simple as using lube. A water based lubricant is condom safe and a little will go a long way in keeping things running, er, smoothly. Slippery sex is hot already, but of you want to make it even hotter, you can have him pour some lube onto your special spot while you slowly and oh-so seductively work it in as he watches! Alternatively, you can get your hands all lubed up and give his condom-clad member a slick hand-job as you get it ready to for penetration. Ooh la la!

Safe sex is only as much of a buzz kill as you make it, so use these tips to be safe and as sexy as can be!

The Trouble with Sex…

Monday, April 7, 2008

Fifty years ago today, you would think of a sexual relationship as something that goes on between a man and a woman. These days, it is not the case. A sexual relationship can come in many forms, ranging from lesbians, homosexuals, and bisexuals. But the relationships between these exquisite people are usually not given the same seemliness or respect as heterosexuals. The gay communities, or homosexuals, are romantically attracted to members of their own sex and can become involved in sexual activity with them. They can become afraid to show their sexuality and affection to their significant other as there is often societal demands to hide what they feel and do with their partner. But it is said that ten percent of the population is either gay or lesbian. While once they were not looked upon with much respect and even sent to insane asylums, with increased public acceptance, as well as gay advocacy, have lead more gay people to become more open about their sexuality.

The same is the case with lesbians, the women who are involved with women in sexual activity. They often face more disrespect than men as it is not acceptable for most of the societies. Then there are bisexuals, who are indulged in sexual activity with both. This means that an individual has sex with both men as well as women. All sorts of sexual relationships have their own sexual troubles related to it if the appropriate precautions are not taken while having sex with anyone, whether gay, straight or bisexual. What's more is that there are those STD’s that don’t have cures and people sometimes forget them in the heat of the moment. Everyone is at a risk of being infected by a sexually transmitted disease if safe sex is not followed. Apart from sexual relationships and their problems, there is individual sexual behavior. There are some folks who lack in sexual activity and is commonly known as a sexual dysfunction. Or it can also be explained as there are some who are too involved with sexual activity, or someone who is involved with compressed sexual behavior. The spectrum is endless.

But like most things in life, most everything has it’s reasons whether you are male or female, straight or gay what have you. Sexual dysfunctions has its reasons in both men and women such as to various reasons such as lack of energy, physical or psychological health or lack of self esteem but that can be resolved with proper care.

Forms of Permanent Birth Control

Friday, April 4, 2008

Permanent contraceptives are the most popular forms of birth control in the United States. Everyone can choose this form of surgical birth control. Permanent birth control for men is called “vasectomy” and is made by a surgical procedure incision in the upper part of the scrotum. The two tubes that carry sperm into the semen are cut apart and then ted off. The incision is then stitched. This procedure is performed in a surgeon`s office using local anesthesia to numb the area while the man is awake. After the surgery a man is still able produce semen but it is free of sperm so it is not causing pregnancy.

Same procedure for women causing permanent sterilization is called “Tubal Ligation”. It is performed in a hospital and the woman is under some form of anesthesia. One or two small incisions are made in the abdomen. The fallopian tubes are clipped and cauterized and the incision is then stitched. Both of the two forms of permanent sterilization Vasectomy (for men) or Tubal Ligation (for women) prevent against pregnancy but not against sexually transmitted diseases. So using
condoms is recommended for none monogamous couples.
